How to Upload Your Files via FTP

Download an FTP Client

We recommend FileZilla (free) or WinSCP for Windows users.

Enter Connection Details

Use the FTP credentials shown on the left to connect to your server.

Upload Your Files

Upload your website files to the public_html folder.

Uploading and Extracting Files

Method 1: Upload Individual Files

  • Upload HTML, CSS, JS files directly
  • Upload images to an images/ folder
  • Upload PHP files for dynamic content

Method 2: Upload ZIP Files

  • Upload your website as a ZIP file
  • Use our online unzip tool
  • Extract files automatically

If you've uploaded a ZIP file containing your website, you can extract it using our online tool.

Main Page

Your main page should be named index.html or index.php

File Permissions

Most files should have 644 permissions, folders should have 755
